AAMPACT Working Groups Meet Virtually

This year we are experiencing a massive change in our working groups through Covid-19. The last meeting at which the participants were personally present was the "Brand Protection Working Group" on March 4th at MAHLE Behr in Stuttgart. From then on we switched to online conferences. We hoped to return to the conventional presence meetings as soon as possible, but no chance! All "Working Group Meetings" planned after the summer holidays were gradually switched to online. Most recently the "Working Group Logistics" meeting on October 1st and now yesterday's partner meeting with the members of our industry initiatives "mein-autolexikon.de" and "Qualität ist Mehrwert" switched to online.
It took some time, but online meetings have now become routine for almost everyone and even lively discussions are possible there. It is really helpful that the participants of most working groups already know each other personally from previous meetings.

Among the logisticians, the effects of Covid-19, securing supply chains, the upcoming "Brexit" and ergonomic measures for logistic employees were discussed in a very committed manner.

The partner meeting focused on the 2021 actions, for which many new ideas were collected from the participants. The goals of the further internationalisation of "mein-autolexikon.de" and additional increases in coverage, including " Qualität ist Mehrwert" in workshops and the trade, are clearly defined. Now it is time for implementation. Further participants from the circle of AAMPACT members are very welcome to join the campaigns themselves as well as the steering committee of the initiatives.

The year 2020 will also end virtually. The General Meeting  on October 30th and the "Working Group VM Activities in the IAM" on November 4th are also planned as web conferences. Hopefully there will be a personal reunion next year.
