Logistics experts in discussion

At the invitation of the bilstein group, the logistics experts of the AAMPACT member companies met on 11 May at febi's new logistics centre in Gelsenkirchen for this year's meeting.

The meeting focused on the current national labelling requirements for disposal for packaging in Italy and France. Daniel Grub from Partslife gave an interesting presentation on this topic. The special current logistics challenges, in regard to availability, shortage of raw materials, cost explosion in all areas and lack of transport capacities triggered by the ongoing Covid-19 situation and the war in Ukraine also took up a lot of space.  The event was rounded off by a very interesting tour of the new warehouse, which impressed the participants especially with its high degree of automation. Many thanks to the Ferdinand Bilstein team around Logistics Manager Thomas Pederiva for organising this successful event.
Next year, the logisticians will meet at Schaeffler in Halle/Saale and have already earmarked Wednesday, May, 10th, 2023.
